The odds in MLM are dismal overall which makes me all the more impressed when someone does well. 95 out of a hundred people in direct sales fail in their home-based business and 90% of all new distributors never make a list of people to contact about their business. So your odds aren’t great. Probably because everyone is self-taught or trying to figure it out on their own with limited sales ability or experience.
Are you more comfortable turning customers into distributors or distributors into customers? All the great leaders and the self-made millionaires/billionaires, they taught us only one amazing thing that really works! ---- "be a person of value and a person of service!". Create value. Bring value to the marketplace. Provide solutions to peoples' problem... be out there helping as many people as you can! And believe me, leads and money will naturally come. And one more thing --- by doing this, you will gave fun building your business! Think about that!

Use a tool. You should not be explaining everything about your opportunity or whatever it is you have to sell over the phone, point them to a video, sizzle call, event in their area, anything but you try to explain it all over the phone. You can say “The first step to see if this is even a fit for you is to watch our short overview video at ________________”

Question – and you may answer this in your training so excuse me if you do – but what are your thoughts re: setting up special phone numbers for bandit signs/sticky notes? Is there any need to create a buffer between us and the signs via a separate number?
